TRAUMA TAKE 2 MOBILE APPLICATION
This Privacy Policy also applies to the Trauma Take 2 mobile application (“Trauma Take 2” or the “App”), provided by Family to Family Support Network.
Information We Collect Through Trauma Take 2
When you create an account or use Trauma Take 2, we may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, account information, and profile information.
We may also collect and maintain information associated with your participation in Family to Family Support Network educational programs, including program enrollment, completed modules or assessments, completion dates, learning history, and other information necessary to display and maintain your learning progress.
Certain features of Trauma Take 2 allow you to voluntarily enter information as part of guided reflection, journaling, or regulation activities. Information you choose to enter into these features may be associated with your account and stored by our service providers so that the feature can function as intended.
Trauma Take 2 previously included community features that allowed users to submit content and interact with other users. These features are no longer available in the current version of the App. Information previously submitted through those features may be retained in accordance with our data-retention practices and applicable legal or operational requirements.
Authentication
Trauma Take 2 requires an account to access certain features.
If you create an account using an email address and password, information necessary to create and authenticate your account is processed through our authentication services.
If you choose to sign in using a third-party authentication provider, such as Google, we may receive basic account information from that provider as necessary to authenticate and associate you with your Trauma Take 2 account. Your use of a third-party authentication provider is also subject to that provider’s applicable privacy policy and terms.
How We Use Information
We may use information collected through Trauma Take 2 to:
• Create, authenticate, and maintain your account;
• Provide App features, educational content, and resources;
• Display and synchronize educational programs, assessments, modules, completion history, and learning progress;
• Connect learning activity from Family to Family Support Network educational platforms with your App account;
• Provide guided reflection, journaling, and regulation features;
• Maintain the security, functionality, and reliability of the App;
• Respond to support requests and other communications; and
• Improve our educational programs, resources, and user experience.
Educational Platforms and Service Providers
Trauma Take 2 uses third-party technology and service providers to support functions such as account authentication, data storage, educational program delivery, learning-progress synchronization, and certificate or credential administration.
Information may be transmitted between Family to Family Support Network and authorized service providers when necessary to provide these services. Depending on the service, this may include your name, email address, account identifier, program enrollment, assessment or module completion, completion dates, or related educational information.
When you select “Continue Learning Online,” Trauma Take 2 may open an external learning platform in your device’s web browser. Information you provide directly to an external website or service is governed by that provider’s privacy policy and terms.
Trauma Take 2 does not store your credentials for external learning platforms.
Certificates and Educational Records
When applicable, information related to your completion of educational activities may be provided to services used to issue certificates, credentials, or continuing education documentation. This may include information necessary to identify you and verify completion of an eligible educational activity.
Data Storage and Security
Information associated with Trauma Take 2 accounts and App features may be stored using third-party cloud infrastructure and service providers acting on behalf of Family to Family Support Network.
Family to Family Support Network uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Third-Party Links and Resources
Trauma Take 2 may provide links to educational materials, organizations, government resources, and other third-party websites. Family to Family Support Network does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. When you leave the App and visit another website or service, that provider’s privacy policy and terms apply.
Data Retention and Your Choices
We may retain account information, learning records, information you voluntarily enter into App features, and previously collected information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain appropriate educational or administrative records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect our services, and meet legitimate operational requirements.
You may contact Family to Family Support Network to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, educational, accreditation, security, or legitimate operational purposes.
Children
Trauma Take 2 is intended for adult users and is not directed to children under 18. Family to Family Support Network does not knowingly collect personal information through Trauma Take 2 from children under 18.
