Adrienne McIntyre, DNP, RNC-NIC, CNS

Board Member 

Dr. Adrienne McIntyre brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience across women’s neonatal, and pediatric services in large, complex health systems. She currently serves as the System Executive Director for Women & Children’s Clinical Institute at Providence and President and Founder of Adrienne McIntyre Consulting - a nurse-led consulting business focused on leadership and health equity. 

Prior to joining Providence, Adrienne was the Deputy Director of Nursing and Health Equity Officer at San Joaquin General Hospital, where she led maternal-child health operations, advanced quality and safety outcomes, and strengthened workforce stability. Previously, at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, Adrienne led large-scale, evidence-based clinical initiatives, including systemwide strategies that significantly reduced C-section surgical site infections, resulting in reductions in readmissions and treatment. She also serves on the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) Community Advisory Board, contributing to statewide maternal health equity efforts.

Adrienne is known for her human-centered leadership approach, strong operational execution, and deep commitment to improving outcomes for women, infants, and families.
