Well, the tables are turned on this Adoption Perspectives Radio Show as I am interviewed by the General Manager of KLTT, Mike Triem. Mike and I discuss the Family to Family Adoption Support Program and how and why it is essential to share and implement this model in hospitals across the country!
How did the program expand during the 10-years since it’s inception? How can we better serve women facing unplanned pregnancy, helping them explore parenting resources and possibly connecting them to ethical adoption resources? With it’s beginnings in the Parker Adventist Hospital BirthPlace, this program serves families considering adoption or going through the adoption process, as well as offers connections to post-adoption resources for all families impacted.
Hospitals can truly serve families better by offering neutral, compassionate care to families involved in adoption and surrogacy as taught through our “Serving the Unique Family Seminar.” For more information, explore our website and to hear a specific interview about why hospitals should have the Family to Family Adoption Support Program, listen to this Adoption Perspectives with hospital administrator, Dixie Weber.
